Szlajfer Henryk
Szlajfer Henryk (b. 1947 r.), economist, political analyst, diplomat.
In the years 1966–1968, he studied economics at the University of Warsaw. On 4 March 968, he was relegated from the university for his involvement in the oppositionist movement. He was arrested on 10 March. The now famous rally held in the courtyard of the University of Warsaw on 8 March 1968 was organised to show support for Szlajfer and Adam Michnik. Szlajfer was sentenced to two years in prison and released on probation on 18 February 1969. He was re-admitted to the university in 1971.
